Matching Grant for the Remise

To help ensure the future of the Mendelssohn Remise and boost donations, two members of the Mendelssohn family are offering a Matching Grant: they will double every donation received up to a total of €20,000, matching every euro donated until the end of 2024 with an additional euro. We are deeply grateful for this incredible commitment!
We also ask you, the members of the Mendelssohn Society, Mendelssohn descendants, and friends of the Mendelssohn Remise, to help us take full advantage of this unique funding opportunity. Please donate to the Mendelssohn Society’s account (see details below) using the reference “Remise.” Every contribution, large or small, makes a difference.
In an initial Matching Grant campaign in early summer 2024, we successfully raised €20,000 in individual donations. Our heartfelt thanks go to both the initiators and the individual donors.
For the current Matching Grant No. 2, as of October 22, a total of €13,070 has been raised, which is 65% of the target amount. You can check the current campaign status below. It is updated monthly.
